I'm an artist and curator, concerned with art as a social practice. What interests me are the possibilities of collaboration and the collective and what can emerge when different subject matter and ways of making come together. I am also concerned with direct political action as protest art. I have lectured at undergraduate and post graduate levels, formerly course leader in MA Printmaking at Bradford Art School, I also taught at the University of Salford and Manchester Metropolitan University across theory and practice.
I have worked nationally and internationally in the US, SA, India, Bangladesh and many European countries, on both individual and group projects. Whilst I have technical and theoretical specialisms in printmaking and other reproducible media, I am really dependent upon the particular project's contexts in suggesting the media I use.
